The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced vacancies for women from eight districts of Punjab for the position of Junior Executive (Data Entry Operator). Walk-in tests and interviews for the positions will be held in Sargodha from September 29 to October 2, 2026.
The recruitment drive is being conducted for women from Faisalabad, Chiniot, Jhang, Hafizabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab and Bhakkar. Only female candidates whose CNIC or domicile carries an address from the relevant district will be eligible to appear in the tests.
Candidates must have Intermediate or an equivalent qualification, while those with at least one year of relevant experience will be preferred.
According to NADRA, the maximum age limit for applicants is 25 years, which already includes the general five-year age relaxation. No additional age relaxation will be granted. Women from minority communities and women with disabilities have also been encouraged to participate in the recruitment process.
District-wise, three positions have been allocated for Satyana, Aminpur and Ram Diwali in Faisalabad; two for Ahmad Nagar in Chiniot; and two for 18-Hazari and Shorkot in Jhang.
Hafizabad has been allocated five positions for Kasoki, Vanike Tarar, Kaleki, Jalalpur Bhattian and Sukheke, while Sargodha has five positions for Kot Momin, Farooqah, CFSC and Sillanwali.
Mianwali has four positions for Kot Chandana, Mianwali, Chakrala and Ban Hafiz Ji. Khushab has one position for Jauharabad, while Bhakkar has four positions for Mitha Tiwana, Behal, Dullewala and Mankera.
Candidates from Faisalabad, Chiniot and Jhang will take their test on September 29, and interviews will be held on September 30. Candidates from Hafizabad and Sargodha will take the test on September 30 and interviews will be conducted on October 1.
Candidates from Mianwali, Khushab and Bhakkar will take their test on October 1, followed by interviews on October 2. Registration for the tests will be open from 8:30am to 1pm, while interviews will begin at 9am.
Only shortlisted candidates who pass the test will be called for interviews. All tests and interviews will be held at NADRA Regional Head Office, 6-Gulshan Avenue, Link PAF Road, Sargodha.
Candidates must bring their original personal, educational and professional documents on the day of the test. Government and semi-government employees will also be required to present a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
At the interview stage, candidates must produce educational certificates verified by the relevant boards. Selected candidates will subsequently be required to submit medical fitness and character certificates. NADRA said candidates providing false information at any stage will be disqualified.

NADRA, the country’s key institution responsible for maintaining and managing citizens’ identity records, has increasingly focused on improving access to its services for women. In recent years, some female citizens have expressed reluctance to visit NADRA offices because of a shortage of female staff. To address this issue and empower women at the local level, NADRA has initiated targeted recruitment of women in various districts.
Employment and human resource experts have described the decision to hold walk-in recruitment for women from specific districts as an effective and welcome step. They say the initiative can reduce the lengthy traditional recruitment process while promoting merit and transparency.
Experts also believe that deploying female NADRA officials in their own areas, tehsils, or villages could make it easier and more comfortable for local women to obtain identity cards and access other services. The initiative could also play an important role in promoting the economic empowerment of women in rural and underserved areas.
