Afghan Official handles turn into propaganda circus after battlefield losses

After facing embarrassment on the battlefield, the Afghan Taliban face embarrassment on social media as false propaganda is exposed

Following the Pakistan Army’s effective response to unprovoked aggression, the Afghan Taliban regime has now resorted to spreading false propaganda on social media.

The BBC reported that several social media posts circulated images of a wrecked Pakistani training fighter jet to support misleading narratives.

However, the images being shared on social media are not related to the recent tensions. In fact, these pictures date back to 2025 and show the wreckage of a training aircraft from an earlier incident.

Experts state that after suffering significant military and logistical losses, the Afghan Taliban are attempting to hide their setback by engaging in misleading propaganda online.

In reality, the widely circulated image is from 2025 and has no connection with the current Pakistan-Afghanistan escalation.

Shameless propaganda: Afghan Taliban claim about Pakistani jet shot down exposed as false

Afghan and Indian media are falsely claiming that a Pakistani jet was downed in Nangarhar and the pilot was captured.

This claim was made by Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defence. The claim was widely amplified by Indian media and Afghan propaganda outlets.

No Pakistani jet was shot down. No defence monitoring agency or international media outlet has verified their claims.

The story completely relies on Afghan claims and Indian media amplification. No evidence of debris or wreckage has been shown by Afghanistan.

No proof of the captured pilot was presented, no geolocated imagery, and no satellite evidence was provided by Afghanistan.

Old videos are being circulated as evidence which are years old.

TOLO News, a media outlet, showed images of the 2021 aircraft crash in Turkey as evidence. That image has nothing to do with Pakistan jets.

Reusing unrelated crash images is a deliberate attempt at creating a false narrative.

The Afghan government has removed the posts claiming that a Pakistani jet was down. The act shows the credibility of the Afghan government.
