The National Commission on the Rights of the Child (NCRC) has summoned representatives of Westminster International School over allegations that a three-year-old girl was harassed at the school.
The commission has scheduled a hearing for 12:30pm on September 14, 2026.
The girl’s parents have raised serious concerns and accused the school of harassment.
The school administration has denied the allegations, however, the school has been directed to bring all relevant records and documents related to the incident to the hearing.
What happened at Westminster International School?
Earlier this month, it was reported that a young student was being harassed at the school’s campus in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi.
According to the family’s account, they approached the school principal after learning about the alleged incident and asked the administration to investigate the matter.
The family also reportedly sought CCTV footage from the area where the alleged incident was said to have occurred. They claim they were informed that the relevant cameras were not functioning at the time.
The allegations have led to questions about why CCTV footage was reportedly unavailable and whether adequate safeguards were in place to protect young children on campus.
However, these claims have not been independently verified, and no conclusion about the alleged incident or the responsibility of any individual should be drawn unless established by a competent investigation.
