New Pentagon UFO files reveal glowing orbs

The Pentagon, on Friday, unveiled a third batch of previously classified files, which highlight alleged UFO sightings, including reports of glowing, sometimes red orbs observed by individuals in the northeastern United States.

The first two batches of the files were released on May 8 and May 22.

The latest release, referred to by the Pentagon as “unidentified anomalous phenomena” (UAP), includes 72 files from the FBI, CIA, and Pentagon, featuring testimonies, videos, and artistic representations.

Several reports mention sightings of spheres or orbs in the same general area of the US Northeast.

One file from February details FBI interviews with two individuals who reported seeing a bright light in their backyard one evening. The names of those interviewed and their exact location were redacted.

The red sphere, nearly three feet (one meter) in diameter, was described as having a white plasma sun the size of a basketball at its center.

The witnesses of the alleged UFO encounter also saw a second orb, and the two seemed connected as they moved away.

A few weeks later, they reported observing several white orbs flying over their house at a much higher altitude, according to the FBI report.

A similar interview conducted in July 2025 referenced earlier orb sightings.

“This observation took place within 25 miles of the ‘Triangle Orbs,’ ‘Red Orb Rotation,’ and ‘Orbs Over the Pond’ sightings in a location familiar to them, which is sparsely populated,” the FBI report stated.
