The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has launched a new emergency response platform called the “NextGen Safety App” to improve public safety across Punjab by providing faster access to police help.
The app allows users to contact emergency services within seconds through multiple options, including live chat, direct 15 emergency calls, and video call support.
How to get help using the NextGen Safety App
Users can open the app on their mobile phone and tap the “Go to Emergency” option. From there, they can use live chat to request help.
The app also features a “Call-15 Emergency Button.” In any dangerous situation, users can tap this button to connect directly with the Police 15 helpline.
For more immediate support, users can select the “Video Call” option to speak to emergency officers through live video assistance.
PSCA said the app aims to provide faster and more reliable help during emergencies.
The authority described the app as a “one-stop solution” that offers multiple ways to get assistance quickly in any emergency situation.

The Punjab government has introduced the “Rehmat Card” to help widows and orphans financially. According to the Punjab government, the Rehmat Card Program will provide financial security to widows and orphans across the province.
The Punjab government has officially allocated a budget of Rs 5 billion for this welfare program. Through this program, the widows and orphans in the province will be able to receive financial help up to Rs 100,000.
