The Iranian media has claimed that Iran is not ready for talks with the US under the current situation between the two countries. The Iranian media also said that Iran will not engage in negotiations until Israel completely stops attacks in Gaza and Lebanon.

The Iranian media also claimed that Iran halted the negotiation process with the US as a protest. The authorities in Iran demanded a complete ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza, adding that the complete evacuation of Israeli forces from Lebanon.
The Iranian media also reported that the high authorities in Iran confirmed that the dialogue with the US is not possible under the current situation.
The authorities also said that Israel and the US are accountable.
The Iranian media reported that Iran will now completely block the Strait of Hormuz.
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, wrote on X, “For immediate attention: The ceasefire between Iran and the US is unequivocally a ceasefire on all fronts, including in Lebanon. Its violation on one front is a violation of the ceasefire on all fronts. The US and Israel are responsible for the consequences of any violation.”

Earlier on Saturday, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth made a series of comments about US-Iran relations, regional security and maritime routes on which Tehran and Washington are engaged in a series of constructive and ongoing talks.
Hegseth said discussions with Iran are “positive” and there is some “hope” in the US administration that a deal can be reached in the near future.
Any potential agreement would be crafted to take into account American strategic concerns, he said, and President Donald Trump would seek a deal that is American-centric.
