Nusuk card now mandatory for Hajj 2026 pilgrims

Nusuk card Hajj 2026

For Hajj 2026 season, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has highlighted the Nusuk Card as a fundamental organisational pillar.

The card will be essential for ensuring legal status of pilgrims and smooth access to holy sites.

The ministry said that this card will work within an integrated system which is aimed at raising the efficiency of services.

This will also help to achieve the highest standards of organisation and safety of the holy sites.

The purpose of Nusuk card is to regulate the entry of Hajj 2026 pilgrims into the Grand Mosque and Makkah, according to Saudi Arabia Ministry.

It will also be used to facilitate movements between the holy sites. It will also help manage crowd flow and relieve congestion.

As the ministry is going through a digital transformation, a digital version of the Nusuk card has also been made. The digital card is available through Tawakkalna and Nusuk applications.

This will allow Hajj 2026 pilgrims to have instant access to their facilities and data. It also facilitates verification processes and access to Hajj related services at any time.

It was clarified by the ministry via its account on the X platform that the card will be delivered through approved service providers for each pilgrim.

They have also urged the pilgrims to promptly contact their relevant companies if they have not received their cards yet. Getting the card is essential for the completion of procedures before commencing Hajj 2026 without any obstacles.

The Nusuk Card is supposed to be carried out by the pilgrims at all times during Hajj, according to the ministry. The card will be the primary means of accessing services and moving within holy sites.

The ministry affirmed that adhering to this requirement contributes to enhancing the quality of organisation and ensuring a safe and convenient Hajj 2026 experience.
