Jaecoo and Omoda have officially launched the Omoda 7 in Pakistan.
The brand new Omoda 7 is a plug-in hybrid SUV, with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a hybrid system and an 18kWh battery.
According to the specifications provided, the system produces 340 horsepower and 525Nm of torque, while its electric-only range is claimed to exceed 90km under the WLTP testing standard.
For longer journeys, the company claims a combined driving range of around 1,200km, potentially making the SUV an attractive option for Pakistani motorists concerned about high fuel costs.
The SUV is also equipped with features including adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assistance, rear cross-traffic alert and driver-fatigue monitoring.
Inside, the vehicle features leatherette and suede finishes, teak-style trim, a panoramic sunroof and a sliding 15.6-inch infotainment screen that can move towards the front passenger.
The car is also equipped with a spare wheel beneath the boot floor, rather than relying solely on a tyre repair kit.
Omoda 7 price in Pakistan
As per the company announcement, the ex-factory price of the new SUV in Pakistan is Rs106.49 lacs.
