Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq to continue till achievement of target

Security forces successfully foil TTA fence cutting attempt, one militant killed

Pakistan Army’s strong retaliatory actions against the Afghan Taliban and Fitna Al-Khawarij are ongoing along the Pak-Afghan border, according to security sources.

Sources said that Pakistani forces targeted multiple Afghan Taliban posts in the South Waziristan sector as part of Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq. The operation focused on militant positions stretching from Shawal to Zarmalan, where all identified posts were effectively destroyed.

Security officials stated that the intense military operations forced Afghan Taliban fighters to retreat, compelling them to flee from their positions in the area.

According to security sources, Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq will continue until its objectives are fully achieved, reaffirming the army’s commitment to securing the border region and eliminating militant threats.

Earlier, Pakistani security forces killed 14 militants linked to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) during an intelligence-based operation in the Ornach tehsil of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.

According to officials, the operation was carried out in the Ornach tehsil after receiving information about the presence of suspected militants in the area.

A search and clearance operation followed, during which 14 BLA members were killed.

The development comes days after seven army personnel were killed in an attack claimed by the BLA.

Security officials say operations have been intensified across parts of Balochistan in response to recent attacks.

They add that more than 100 suspected militants have been killed in various operations in the province in recent weeks, though independent confirmation of the figures is not available.

Officials said the militants killed in Ornach were wanted in connection with several attacks on security forces and incidents targeting civilians.

During the operation, security forces cordoned off the area and searched suspected hideouts. Authorities say a quantity of weapons, ammunition and communication equipment was recovered.

There was no immediate statement from the BLA.

Balochistan has seen a long-running insurgency, with militant groups carrying out attacks on security personnel and infrastructure.

The government says it remains committed to restoring law and order in the province through security measures and development efforts.
