Security forces killed two Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists during a successful operation in the Nokcha area of Chaghi district in Balochistan, according to security sources.
Security forces are continuing operations against terrorists in Balochistan under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
According to security sources, Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists set an empty water bowser on fire in Nokcha and attempted to flee the area.
Security forces responded swiftly and effectively, killing two terrorists in the operation, the sources said.
The terrorists were also involved in arson attacks at different locations along the N40 highway, according to security sources.
The sources said 11 Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists involved in similar destructive activities were also killed on August 31.
Security forces will continue operations against terrorists in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated, the sources said.
Earlier, a terrorist attack on a Customs check post at Ziarat Cross was successfully thwarted, according to security sources.
Terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan attempted to attack the Ziarat Cross check post, but security personnel responded promptly and engaged the attackers.
The security personnel fought back and inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists, forcing them to flee the area.
During the exchange of fire, a fire broke out at the Customs warehouse. The blaze was brought under control shortly afterwards.
Additional contingents of security forces have reached the area, while a search and clearance operation is underway to locate and eliminate any remaining threats.
Authorities have continued to monitor the situation, with security measures tightened in the surrounding area.
