OPPO has confirmed the China launch date for its upcoming Find X10 series. The new flagship phones will arrive on September 22. The company has also revealed the designs of the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max. Both phones bring changes to the rear design while keeping a familiar camera shape. The OPPO Find X10 series will target users seeking premium cameras, large batteries, and powerful hardware. OPPO has also started pre-reservations for the phones in China.
OPPO Find X10 series launch date
The Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max will launch in China on September 22. OPPO will also introduce other products during the event. The OPPO Watch S2 and Enco X4 are expected to join the smartphone launch. This will expand OPPO’s connected device lineup.
OPPO has not confirmed the international launch date yet. A recent report suggests an India launch could happen by the end of October. However, OPPO has not officially confirmed this timeline.
OPPO Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max design
The new phones retain a square-shaped camera module. This design is similar to the previous Find X9 series. However, OPPO has made several changes to the rear panel. The Find X10 will have a different shade around the upper rear section. The Find X10 Pro Max has a separate plateau for its fourth camera and LED flash. This gives the more expensive model a different appearance. Both phones will come in four colour options. These include Warm Orange, Moon White, Ice Blue, and Light Titanium. The Find X10 will also have 0.99mm symmetrical bezels. The Pro Max will feature slightly wider 1.15mm bezels.
Powerful camera systems expected
Camera performance will be a major focus of the new phones. The Find X10 Pro Max is confirmed to feature three 200MP rear cameras. It will reportedly be the first smartphone with this camera setup. The system includes a 200MP main camera, a 200MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP periscope camera. The periscope camera will support 3x optical zoom.
The standard Find X10 will also offer two 200MP cameras. These will include the main and periscope cameras. Its ultrawide camera could use a 50MP sensor. Both phones may also support telephoto converter lenses.
Hasselblad and LUMO camera technology
OPPO will use its Hasselblad Ultra-Clear Original Camera system on both models. The phones will also feature the LUMO computational photography system. It works with a second-generation Danxia colour restoration lens. The technology collects light and colour information across 24 sampling channels. This could improve colour accuracy and overall image quality. These features could make the phones appealing to photographers and content creators.
Large batteries and flagship processors
The Find X10 series could also bring a major battery upgrade. Both models are expected to feature batteries with an 8,000mAh capacity. They could support 80W fast charging. OPPO is also expected to use MediaTek’s upcoming flagship chipsets. The reported options include the Dimensity 9600 and Dimensity 9600 Pro.
These processors are expected to be revealed at MediaTek’s upcoming launch event. The event is scheduled for September 15.
What to expect
The OPPO Find X10 series will bring several flagship features. The Pro Max model stands out with its triple 200MP camera system. The standard Find X10 will also offer two 200MP cameras. Large batteries could further strengthen the phones’ appeal. The expected MediaTek processors should also provide strong performance. OPPO has yet to reveal complete pricing and international availability. More details should become clear during the official China launch.
For now, the September 22 event remains the key date for OPPO fans. The company is positioning the Find X10 series as a major flagship camera lineup.
