Pakistan ready to respond with full force against any aggression: PAF Chief

Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu on Saturday said that Pakistan is fully prepared to deliver a decisive response to any act of aggression.

PAF Chief addressed the prestigious passing out parade held at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, as a chief guest. The ceremony marked the graduation of cadets from the 153rd PMA Long Course, 38th Technical Graduate Course, 72nd Integrated Course, 15th Mujahid Course, and the 27th Lady Cadet Course.

A total of 30 cadets from friendly countries, including Iraq, Palestine, Maldives, Mali, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, were also among the graduating cadets. Haider Company was awarded the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam Banner for its outstanding performance.

Addressing the ceremony, PAF chief Zaheer Babar said it was an honour to witness the passing-out parade and congratulated both Pakistani and international cadets. He expressed satisfaction over the increasing participation of female cadets and praised the academy for maintaining its status among the world’s leading military institutions.

He said that the primary responsibility of the graduating cadets is to ensure the security and sovereignty of the country. Referring to Pakistan’s military capabilities, he said the nation’s armed forces have demonstrated exceptional professionalism and strategic strength, adding that the Pakistan Air Force has made history through its operational achievements.

Reiterating Pakistan’s stance, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu stated that any aggression against the country would be met with a strong and befitting response. He also lauded Pakistan’s political and military leadership for their commendable efforts in promoting peace at the global level.

On the global front, Pakistan has been widely acknowledged for playing a mediator’s role between Washington and Tehran, with both sides recognising Islamabad’s contribution to the ceasefire.

The US President Donald Trump thanked Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their continuous efforts for peace in the region.

The US President Donald Trump wrote on his Truth Social account, “Thank you to Pakistan and its Great Prime Minister and Field Marshall, two fantastic people.”
