A Pakistan Air Force trainer aircraft crashed and was destroyed near Mardan today during a routine training flight, resulting in the martyrdom of two pilots.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in the incident, Pakistan Air Force Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah and Pakistan Navy Lieutenant Taha Abbasi embraced martyrdom.
ISPR stated that a high-level inquiry board has been constituted by the Air Headquarters to determine the causes of the accident, which will examine all aspects of the incident.

Expression of regret by the Armed Forces
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, and all officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces have expressed deep sorrow and grief over this tragic accident.
In their condolence message, the military leadership expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the martyrs, stating that the nation will always remember the sacrifices of its brave sons.

The Armed Forces reiterated their resolve that the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives during the defense and service of the homeland will always remain a source of pride for the nation, and their services will continue to be regarded with respect and honor.
