Iran thanks Pakistan for its support at UN
The representative of Iran at the United Nations expressed gratitude to Pakistan, China and Russia for having held a principled stance condemning the American and Israeli attacks on Iran.
The Iranian envoy defined the support of these countries as extremely important. He said that such attacks are not legal and are unjustified.
Iranian officials especially expressed thanks to Pakistan as Pakistan is the only Muslim nation which openly condemned the aggressive action taken by Israel and the United States against Iran and showed full support.
According to Iran’s state TV, in this attack, the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was martyred, which has increased the tensions in that region.
How can current Iran-US-Israel situation affect Hajj?
The current Pakistan and Afghanistan situation and the Iran US Israel situation could make Hajj 2026 travel harder or cause a delay in it.
Some countries have closed air routes, and major airlines have cancelled or rerouted flights. This could affect international flight schedules as well.
If the Iran US Israel tensions continue, flights to and from Saudi Arabia could face delays or cancellations.
As of the current time, Saudi Arabia has implemented a partial closure of its airspace. This is particularly along its border with Iraq and over the Persian Gulf.
Governments might issue safety advisories. Additionally, higher fuel costs could make flights even more expensive.
Saudi authorities can also increase security measures or adjust entry procedures if the situation gets worse.
However, no official statement is seen in this regard, and this remains just an observation.
