The Pakistani Embassy has announced new fees by changing the hours of passport collection on Tuesday.
According to the details, the Embassy of Pakistan has announced a change in the working hours of passport collection for Pakistani citizens residing in Oman.

The new schedule will be implemented on May 1, 2026. This new schedule is expected to improve consular services and reduce the rush.
The embassy says that processed passports will be available from Sunday to Thursday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The embassy has clarified that to receive a new passport, citizens must bring the original token and their old passport.
Further, the embassy has also released details of fees for different categories of passports.

The embassy emphasised the security of travel documents. It further said that heavy fines will be imposed in case of loss of a passport.
For the first time, double the fee will be charged if the passport is lost. And the fee will be increased fourfold if it is lost for the second time.
For example, in the case of a second loss, the fee for a 100-page urgent passport can go up to 208 Omani Rials.
The embassy has advised citizens to visit as per the scheduled time to avoid any inconvenience.
UK raises visa fees
The United Kingdom (UK) has increased the visa fee for various categories, from student visas to citizenship visas.
The UK Home Office has said that the increase in visa fees has been implemented from April 8, Wednesday.
Among these, the nationality visa fee has been increased by 104 pounds, which is Rs38,942. Additionally, the student visa fee has been increased by 34 pounds, which is about Rs12,731.
And, the visit visa fees have been increased by 8 pounds, which is about Rs2,995.
