A proposed time frame has been developed for the tri-nation One-Day International (ODI) series to be played in Pakistan between Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka.

The proposed programme calls for the tri-nation series to be played from October 18 to November 1.

The first phase of the tournament is proposed to be held in Rawalpindi with the matches planned on 18th, 20th and 22nd October 2015.

According to sources, the second phase will be held in Lahore where matches have been proposed to be played on October 25, 27 and 29.

The proposed plan has now seen the final of the tri-nation ODI series set for November 1 in Lahore.

Sources in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that it has not yet been finalised.

The final programme is likely to be made public after consultation with each other, as cricket boards from Pakistan, England and Sri Lanka are in talks.

This proposed three-nation series is a part of Sri Lanka’s Pakistan tour. The Sri Lankan side will also face two Tests and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) during the tour.

Talks are taking place about the venues and timing of the T20I and Test series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

The PCB will, after talking to the concerned cricket boards, be able to finalise the complete circuit.

The three-day ODI series will offer a chance for the three sides to get some good preparation in advance for their international engagements.
