Pakistan delivered a strong performance at the 33rd Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship 2026, securing a total of six medals, including two gold, one silver, and three bronze. Noman Khan emerged as the standout performer after defeating his Indian opponent to claim the Asian Junior Under-17 Squash Championship title.
In another impressive result, Ahmed Ryan Khalil secured the Asian Junior Under-15 title, further strengthening Pakistan’s dominance in the competition.
In the Girls Under-15 final, Mah Noor Ali put up a strong fight but had to settle for a silver medal after finishing as runner-up.
According to reports, in the Boys Under-17 final held in Panzhihua, China, Noman Khan defeated fifth-seed Indian player Shivam Ko Agarwal 3-1 after a 40-minute match to clinch the title and secure the gold medal.
In the Boys Under-15 final, top seed Ahmed Ryan Khalil comfortably defeated Malaysia’s Dhuraan Rothi Ran 3-0 in a 29-minute match to become the Asian Junior Champion.
In the Girls Under-15 final, fourth seed Mah Noor Ali lost to top seed Zi Yuan of China in straight sets. She had to settle for the silver medal after a 3-0 defeat in a 23-minute match. It is worth noting that Mah Noor Ali had won a silver medal in the Girls Under-13 category at last year’s Asian Junior Championship.
Overall, Pakistan secured five medals at the championship, including 2 gold, 1 silver, and 3 bronze. Pakistan’s Sohail Adnan won a bronze medal after reaching the Boys Under-15 semi-finals, while Muhammad Umair Arif, who lost to compatriot Noman Khan, also secured a bronze medal by reaching the semi-finals.
