Pakistan vs Australia T20Is rescheduled

Pakistan vs Australia

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia T20I matches will be commenced at a new time in Lahore with the matches moved to 4:00 PM as opposed to the initial time of the day, 6:00 PM.

The move will reduce possible inconveniences brought about by adverse weather situations, especially fog which has made issues for travelling in the past.

As per the new schedule the toss will be held at 3.30 PM, the first ball at 4:00 PM, as opposed to the previous schedule of 5:30 PM toss and 6:00 PM match start.

The T20I series with three matches will be held on Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on January 29, January 31 and February 1.

The Australian team will travel to Lahore on Wednesday, January 28 before the matches. The series will be a valuable practise for the ICC Men T20 World Cup of 2026.

This trip will be Australia’s third to visit to Pakistan since 2022, as there have already been visits by Australia that included Tests, ODIs, and T20I series, and the country has hosted matches during the course of the Champions Trophy 2025.

The fans who are interested in attending the series can buy tickets online instantly, and the physical ticket will be sold to the fans starting on Monday, January 19, at specified outlets beginning at 10:00 AM.

This change in schedule of the match demonstrates the attempts of PCB to guarantee the successful course of actions under unfavourable weather conditions, allowing both of the teams to be ready for the T20 World Cup and grant spectators a safer and more comfortable experience.

The matches are likely to create a lot of buzz among both cricketing nations as both of them will want to be seen as strong candidates in the upcoming World Cup.
