The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the dates for the 12th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), with the tournament set to take place from March 18 to May 2 next year.
According to the PCB, all eight franchises will participate in PSL 12 and compete against each other during the tournament. The league’s window has been finalised following consultations with the PSL Governing Council and the franchise owners.
The PSL Governing Council held its meeting in London on September 1, with owners and representatives of all eight franchises in attendance. The meeting discussed key matters related to the upcoming edition of Pakistan’s premier T20 league, including the tournament window.
The announcement comes after Peshawar Zalmi were crowned champions of PSL 11. Zalmi defeated the Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the final to lift the PSL trophy after a nine-year wait.
The PCB said further details regarding PSL 12 will be announced at a later stage. These will include information about direct signings, the player auction, the tournament schedule, venues and ticketing arrangements.
The 12th edition is expected to attract significant attention as the league continues to expand its presence among cricket fans in Pakistan and around the world. With all eight franchises set to return, teams will now begin preparations for the upcoming season, including decisions on player retention, signings and squad composition.
The PCB is expected to provide more information about the tournament in the coming months as preparations for PSL 12 get underway.
