PCB begins search for new fielding coach for Pakistan team

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has started its search for a new fielding coach for the national cricket team. The board has also issued an advertisement inviting suitable candidates to apply for the position.

According to the PCB, the new fielding coach will work with Pakistan’s red-ball and white-ball teams.

The selected coach will be responsible for improving the fielding performance of players across different formats of international cricket. Coach will guide players to improve catching, throwing, movement, fitness and overall performance in the field. The coach may also help players develop specific fielding skills for different positions.

The recruitment gives experienced coaches an opportunity to join Pakistan’s national cricket setup.

The PCB has also announced the main requirements for candidates interested in the position.

Who can apply for the fielding coach position?

  • Applicants must have completed at least a Level Two coaching course
  • Candidates must have at least five years of relevant coaching experience to be considered for the role

These requirements are intended to ensure that the selected coach has the skills and experience needed to work with international-level players.

Interested candidates have been given until September 9 to submit their applications. The PCB will move forward with the recruitment process, after the deadline.

The appointment will be important for Pakistan as fielding plays a major role in modern international cricket.

However, the PCB has not yet announced when the new fielding coach will officially take charge.

Currently, the board is accepting applications from candidates who meet the required qualifications and experience.
