Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and chose to field against Hyderabad Kingsmen in the decisive match of Pakistan Super League Season 11.
The final match being played at Gaddafi Stadium, Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and opted to field, inviting Hyderabad to bat first.
While Peshawar Zalmi are determined to win the title for the second time, Hyderabad Kingsmen, participating in the tournament for the first time, are eager to become champions.
Speaking to the media before the match, Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam said that winning the trophy is every captain’s dream, and the team would aim to deliver a strong performance in the final without any pressure. He expressed confidence in the team’s excellent form and momentum and reaffirmed their determination to lift the trophy.
On the other hand, Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne said that anything is possible with confidence and belief. Describing the team’s journey so far as very special, he added that they would do their best to make the tournament memorable with a victory. Both teams are now focused on the PSL 11 trophy.
