Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif announced a Rs 160 billion package for the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) while addressing a ceremony in Peshawar.
According to the details, the governor of KP, Faisal Karim Kundi and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also attended the ceremony.
During his address, PM Shehbaz praised tribal people for firmly standing with Pakistan against terrorism in the region. He also praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that, with the support of the Field Marshal, the federal government will work for the betterment of KP.
PM Shehbaz further added that the federal government will also work to overcome the wheat shortage at the provincial level. He also said that the PTI government did nothing for the residents of KP.
PM Shehbaz reassured that the federal government will tackle terrorism in the province. He praised the sacrifices of tribal people to tackle terrorism in KP.
