The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced an additional registration period for students seeking admission to medical and dental colleges through the MDCAT 2026.
According to the council, the online registration portal will reopen from August 17 to August 21, 2026, giving another opportunity to candidates who were unable to complete their registration during the earlier deadline.
Candidates will be required to complete the online registration process and pay the prescribed fee within the additional registration period.
PMDC has advised applicants to provide accurate and complete information when submitting their forms.
The council has also warned that incomplete applications may be cancelled.
Students have therefore been advised to carefully review their personal information and required documents before submitting their applications.
MDCAT 2026 exam date
The MDCAT 2026 examination is scheduled for September 20, 2026, according to PMDC.
The council said relevant notices have also been sent to the universities responsible for conducting the examination.
MDCAT is a key admission test for students seeking places in MBBS and BDS programmes at medical and dental colleges across Pakistan.
PMDC has urged candidates to check its official website for the latest information on registration, fees, examination procedures, test centres and other requirements.
The additional registration window is expected to give students who missed the earlier deadline one final opportunity to enter the MDCAT 2026 admission process.
