The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the recruitment of 1,712 vacancies in Islamabad Police.

The interior minister wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that online applications for the job posts are required within four days.

The recruitment drive has a quota for candidates from all provinces, and will be based on merit alone, Naqvi said.

Any applicant that is discovered using recommendations or illegal influence was warned that they would be disqualified immediately.

In order to provide convenience to the applicants, examination centres would be situated near the applicants’ hometowns.

The Interior Minister also urged the youth to the Islamabad Police and render services to Pakistan with pride.

Pakistan Army announces Captain level jobs: apply online

The Pakistan Army has also announced recruitment for Aeronautical Engineers through the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) for the rank of captain.

How to apply

According to the Pakistan Army, online registration has started on the official Join Pakistan Army website and will continue until July 12.

According to the details, the recruitment is being carried out for the Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME).

Eligibility

Engineers from several fields are eligible to apply. These include Aviation or Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

The online registration process began on June 22, 2026. Interested candidates have to submit their applications before July 12, 2026.

Eligible applicants can visit the official Pakistan Army website and fill out the online application form to apply for Army jobs 2026.

Candidates who do not have internet access can also complete their registration at Army Selection. And at Recruitment Centres (AS&RCs) that are located in different cities across the country.

These centres are available in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan and Faisalabad, among other cities.
