PPP leader wife murdered in Sindh  

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Ghulam Nabi Magsi and his wife have been murdered in Tando Muhammad Khan, the private media outlet reported on Monday.

According to the police, an FIR has also been registered at the Tando Muhammad Khan police station.

In the registered FIR, the police nominated five individuals, and two suspects are unidentified.

The police authorities confirmed that suspects include Ibrahim Magsi, Asad Magsi, Fiaz Magsi and others. The police also confirmed their raids for the arrest of the suspects.

It is pertinent to mention that Ghulam Nabi Magsi was attacked when he was travelling with his family.

PPP leader, Ghulam Nabi Magsi and his wife were killed at the spot, and the niece of Magsi sustained injuries.

Police say the incident appears to be the result of a long-standing enmity, but investigations are being conducted from all angles, and the suspects will be arrested soon.

Earlier, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Sunday announced its candidates for the 2026 Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections, naming nominees for all 35 constituencies.

The party selected candidates for seats in Mirpur, Bhimber, Kotli, Bagh, Sudhnoti, Poonch, Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Jammu refugee constituencies and Valley refugee constituencies.
