Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan needs peace, stability, development and economic recovery. He questioned those marching towards Islamabad and asked them to think about whose agenda they were serving.
Speaking at an event in his home constituency of Narowal, Ahsan Iqbal said ending terrorism was a national duty. He said Pakistan was facing a difficult situation but needed peace and stability to move forward.

Pakistan needs stability

The federal minister said 2027 would be a year of new heights for Pakistan. He said the country needed political and economic stability along with peace to continue its development.
Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan needed an environment where development projects, investment and economic recovery could continue.

Ahsan Iqbal said no one could be considered above the law. He added that if a person had committed a crime, no long march could protect them from legal action.
He said the law would take its course and those involved in crimes would face action according to the law.

Pakistan needs peace and development

Ahsan Iqbal said Pakistan needed collective attention to end terrorism, maintain peace, revive the economy and promote development.
He said stability was necessary for the country to move forward. He stressed that peace and development should remain national priorities.
