PTI workers protest outside Adiala against party leadership

Supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gathered outside Adiala Jail on Monday and staged a protest against the party’s senior leadership over the continued imprisonment of former prime minister Imran Khan.

The protesters raised slogans and questioned the party leadership’s strategy, accusing senior leaders of failing to secure Khan’s release despite repeated promises and political campaigns.

One of the party workers criticised PTI’s senior leader Meena Khan for misbehaving with party supporters outside Adiala jail.

Several workers expressed frustration over what they described as a lack of effective action from the leadership. They demanded stronger efforts, including nationwide protests and a clear political plan to push for the release of the PTI founder.

The demonstration created a tense atmosphere outside the jail, where security was tightened to avoid any untoward situation. Police personnel remained deployed in and around the area during the protest.

Imran Khan has remained incarcerated in multiple cases, while PTI leaders continue to call the charges politically motivated.
