Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, said that Sohail Afridi will remain the Chief Minister (CM) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He also confirmed that Sohail Afridi has full support from the current leadership of the party.
During his press briefing in Peshawar, Barrister Gohar said that PTI founder Imran Khan nominated Afridi for the position of CM KP, and the party’s senior leadership is satisfied with the performance of Sohail Afridi.
PTI Chairman also rejected all the social media claims regarding the removal of Sohail Afridi from the position of CM. In his press briefing, Barrister Gohar said that Sohail Afridi is governing the province in a good way.
Gohar termed all the claims regarding Afridi’s removal baseless and false propaganda against him. “Those running a campaign against Sohail Afridi will face disappointment and failure,” Barrister Gohar stated.
Chairman PTI also confirmed that there is no forward bloc in the party, and Sohail Afridi can’t be dismissed or disqualified.
He stressed that the party leadership and party workers are firmly standing with CM KP Sohail Afridi.
On the other hand, Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan recently criticised PTI’s senior leadership, including the General Secretary, Salman Akram Raja and Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Similarly, in one of the viral videos on social media, Salman Akram Raja said that he is not fond of keeping the position of General Secretary in the party.
After that, Salman Akram Raja also confirmed that there are no internal rifts within the party, adding that the PTI’s senior leadership is on the same page.
