The founder of PTI, Imran Khan’s cousin, Ahmad Khan Niazi, said that Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sohail Afridi is nothing in comparison with the former CM KP Ali Amin Gandapur.
Ahmad Khan Niazi praised Ali Amin Gandapur and confirmed during an interview that Gandapur was a committed political worker of PTI. Ahmad Khan Niazi also said that Ali Amin Gandapur is loyal to Imran Khan and other PTI workers.
He also criticised Sohail Afridi and said that Afridi, as a CM KP and PTI’s political worker, is nothing in front of Ali Amin Gandapur.
On the other hand, a few PTI’s political workers, including the senior leaders of PTI, are not happy with Ali Amin Gandapur.
According to social media reports, Iman Khan’s sister, including Aleema Khan and Naureen Khan, were also not happy with Ali Amin Gandapur.
Ali Amin Gandapur’s removal as CM KP
Ali Amin Gandapur resigned on October 8, 2025, at the direction of PTI founder Imran Khan. On October 8, 2025, Ali Amin Gandapur submitted his resignation to Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi.
After Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation, the PTI founder Imran Khan and other senior leaders of PTI agreed to select Sohail Afridi as CM KP. After that, Sohail Afridi took the oath on October 16, 2025.
PTI’s grounded workers are not happy with Sohail Afridi
It is pertinent to mention that PTI’s grounded workers are not happy with the performance of Sohail Afridi. Several PTI workers, including the sisters of Imran Khan, criticised Afridi multiple times for not doing anything for the release of Imran Khan.
