The Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF) has announced admissions to 17 medical diploma courses for students who have passed matriculation with science subjects.

The two-year programs will be offered at government medical training institutes across Punjab for the 2026–2028 academic session.

These courses provide training in different medical fields. Students can learn practical skills without pursuing an MBBS degree.

The 17 diploma courses include Dispenser Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Operation Theatre Technician, Radiography and Imaging Technician, and Public Health Technician.

Other programs include Dental Technician, Dental Hygienist, Dental Surgery Assistant, Dialysis Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, Physiotherapy Technician, Anesthesia Technician, and Central Sterilization Technician.

Applicants must have passed matriculation with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

They must have at least a second division and a minimum of 45 per cent combined marks in these three science subjects.

There is no upper age limit, so eligible candidates of different ages can apply.

The faculty has reserved 2 per cent of seats for candidates with disabilities. Admission under this quota requires medical board approval.

Eligible candidates with disabilities may receive 20 additional merit marks. Hafiz-e-Quran applicants can receive 10 extra marks by submitting valid certificates.

Application fee, required documents and deadline

The application fee is Rs500 and is non-refundable.

Applicants must generate a fee challan through the official online admission system and follow the payment instructions.

Bank drafts and pay orders will not be accepted.

Required documents include a matriculation certificate or result card, domicile, CNIC or B-Form, and a recent passport-size photograph.

Candidates applying for reserved seats or additional merit marks must also submit supporting certificates.

Applicants can select up to five preferences for courses and training institutes.

However, once a candidate gets admission under one preference, the remaining choices will become inactive.

Final selection will depend on academic marks, merit, eligibility requirements, and available seats.

Students are advised to submit their online applications by November 20, 2026.
