Qatar is offering Pakistani citizens a free tourist visa on arrival for stays of up to 30 days, subject to certain conditions, allowing eligible travellers to visit the country without obtaining a visa in advance. According to Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, Pakistani passport holders can obtain the visa upon arrival, provided they meet the required entry conditions. The permitted duration of stay may also depend on the traveller’s hotel reservation.

To qualify for the facility, Pakistani citizens must meet the following requirements:

Passport validity: The passport must have at least three months of validity remaining.

Return ticket: Travellers must hold a confirmed return ticket.

Hotel reservation: Hotel bookings must be made exclusively through Qatar’s official tourism website, Discover Qatar. Reservations through other booking platforms will not be accepted under this facility.

Health insurance: Travellers must have health insurance from a provider approved by Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.

The Ministry of Interior has clarified that all these requirements must be fulfilled to qualify for the free visa-on-arrival facility. Travellers who fail to meet the conditions or provide the required documents may be denied entry under this arrangement.

The facility is separate from Qatar’s other visa-free entry and tourist visa schemes. Pakistani citizens are therefore advised to check the latest requirements and ensure that all necessary documents are in order before travelling. For hotel reservations and further details, travellers can visit Qatar’s official tourism website, Discover Qatar.
