In the second match of PSL 11, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and opted to field against Karachi Kings. At Gaddafi Stadium, Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel won the toss and chose to have David Warner’s XI bat first.
Quetta Gladiators captain Saud Shakeel said, “We have decided to bowl first. I think it will be sunny at the start, and dew will appear later, which is why we chose to bowl first.”
He added that this is his second season as captain and that he is quite satisfied. ‘I am used to playing for Quetta Gladiators; this is my third consecutive year, so I am happy.
He also mentioned the team’s bowling strategy: ‘Both our spinners are playing. They are our main bowlers, and we are relying on them and expecting a strong performance.”
David Warner said he is very happy to continue leading the Karachi Kings and hopes to perform even better this time.
All-rounder Moeen Ali stated that the Karachi Kings have a strong lineup of all-rounders and that Pakistan’s T20 captain, Salman Agha, is also part of the team.
