Rajab Butt’s wife Emaan has said that her presence on social media is solely for the sake of her son, Kivan, insisting that every step she takes is to secure his future and provide him with the best life possible.
During an emotional live session, Emaan said, “If I am on social media, it is only for my son. I am a strong woman and his mother. I will provide him with everything he needs. By the grace of Allah, everything has been working out over the past 10 months.”
Breaking down in tears, Emaan appealed to both families to put aside their differences and resolve the ongoing dispute privately, stressing that her greatest wish is for Kivan to grow up with the love and support of both parents.
She said the constant rumours, accusations and discussions circulating on social media had severely affected her mental health. According to Emaan, her only goal from the beginning has been to save her family not for herself, but for her son.
Speaking about Kivan, Emaan became emotional and described him as the greatest blessing in her life. She said she works hard to provide him with everything he needs but believes that no mother can replace a father’s love. She added that her son deserves to grow up with both parents in his life.
Addressing Rajab Butt directly, Emaan claimed she had never stopped him from meeting Kivan. She said she repeatedly informed him through messages that he was welcome to visit his son whenever he wished.
Emaan also rejected allegations that Rajab had been harassed during his visits, calling the claims completely false. Referring to reports that he visited with security guards and friends, she questioned how such visits could be described as harassment.
Responding to claims that she wanted to live separately from a joint family, Emaan said she was raised in a joint family herself and never demanded a separate home. She maintained that she always respected Rajab’s parents as her own and never treated them disrespectfully.
Reflecting on their marriage, Emaan said she spent only a short period living with her husband but always stood by him during difficult times, including when he was abroad. She insisted she had consistently tried to protect their relationship rather than damage it.
Emaan also explained that the bouquet she sent to Rajab was a personal gesture and was never intended for public attention. She said she only spoke about it after fan pages falsely claimed it had been sent by someone else.
Without revealing specific details, Emaan said she possessed information that could affect people’s reputations but deliberately chose not to disclose it. She said exposing private matters goes against her values and that people’s dignity should be protected instead of turning family disputes into public spectacle.
Explaining why she shared the divorce documents publicly, Emaan said she did so only after repeated calls and messages to Rajab allegedly went unanswered. She added that she was not seeking sympathy and remains focused on raising her son peacefully.
