Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq has joined the Rawalpindi franchise ahead of the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), taking up the role of President of Cricket Affairs.
With Inzamam at the helm of cricket affairs and a strong lineup secured at the auction, Rawalpindi will be aiming for a dominant run in PSL 11, according to media reports.
Inzamam, who previously served as President of Peshawar Zalmi, will now oversee cricketing operations for the Rawalpindi side as the franchise looks to strengthen its campaign in PSL 11.

Fast bowler Naseem Shah emerged as the franchise’s most expensive acquisition, secured for Rs 86.5 million. Close behind was New Zealand batsman Daryl Mitchell, who was bought for Rs 85 million.
The franchise further bolstered its pace attack by signing left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir for Rs 54 million. In the spin department, Rawalpindi successfully bid Rs 30 million for Bangladesh leg-spinner Rashad Hossain.
Among other additions, England’s Laurie Evans was picked up for Rs 11 million. Imad Butt joined the squad for Rs 8 million, Abdullah Fazal was signed for Rs 6.75 million, and Kamran Ghulam was acquired for Rs 6.5 million.
