Reza Amiri Moghadam, the Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to Pakistan for its hospitality and diplomatic efforts following the recent visit of Abbas Araghchi to Islamabad.
In a detailed message shared on social media, the ambassador thanked the government, armed forces, and people of Pakistan for ensuring a smooth, secure, and successful visit of the Iranian delegation. He particularly acknowledged the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their continued efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
Reza Amiri Moghadam noted that the visit was part of a broader regional diplomatic tour aimed at reviewing bilateral relations and holding consultations on evolving regional developments. He emphasised that, like previous engagements, this round of talks was conducted in an atmosphere of complete security, safety, and mutual trust.
The Iranian envoy also extended special appreciation to Pakistan’s security institutions, including law enforcement agencies and administrative bodies, for their effective coordination and professional management throughout the visit. He further thanked the residents of Islamabad for their patience, hospitality, and cooperation.
Concluding his message, the ambassador reaffirmed the strong and longstanding friendship between Iran and Pakistan, expressing optimism for deeper cooperation and stronger ties between the two neighbouring countries in the future.
He wrote in his tweet on X, “At the end of This round of the visit of the Iranian delegation, H.E. Syyed Abbas Araghchi, Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs to Pakistan at the onset of the regional diplomatic tour, which was carried out with the aim of reviewing bilateral relations and consulting on the issue of regional developments, I would like to express my sincere and wholehearted gratitude and appreciation to the government, army and people of Pakistan, especially H.E. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, for their tireless efforts and good office initiative to end the war and bring lasting peace to the region.”
