Legendary footballer Cristiano Ronaldo gets married in a simple ceremony at their home, held in their living room. The couple has released their first official wedding picture in Vogue Magazine.
The magazine has shared the couple’s official wedding pictures, in which the bride, Georgina Rodríguez, is seen wearing a simple yet chic white coat with a long skirt, while Ronaldo opted for a beige suit for the intimate wedding ceremony.
The couple wore outfits by Gucci, with the bride pairing her look with her ring and a Chopard necklace.
Talking to Vogue, the bride said, “It was exactly as I’d imagined it. Intimate, full of love, and with our family in the most important starring role. I couldn’t hold back the tears.”
The couple got married on the 10th anniversary of the day they first met at a Gucci store in Madrid.
“I dreamt of the biggest castle, the biggest carriage, the longest dress, a crown full of diamonds. And now I’m saying: no. I want something intimate, with my partner and our children, at home. Because castles, houses, islands, horses, and cars: We have all of that within reach every day. But something intimate—that’s more unusual for us”, Georgina added.
Before the official picture was released, the couple had shared a hand-in-hand picture.
Georgina is the biological mother of two of Ronaldo’s daughters. Together, the couple has five children, all of whom Georgina has helped raise as a mother figure.
