The government has shortlisted around four thousand candidates for the Graduate Engineer Trainee program under which all the candidates will be provided with a Rs50,000 scholarship every month.
According to the details, the Pakistan Engineering Council has shortlisted around four thousand candidates for the second round of the Graduate Engineer Trainee Program.
The media report also confirmed that 1700 new engineering graduates will be provided training, and they will also be able to receive Rs 50,000 as a scholarship every month.
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) also said that the Graduate Engineer Trainee Program will last for six months.
Details of the Rs50000 scholarship program
Pakistan Engineering Council also confirmed that 5300 candidates applied for the Graduate Engineer Trainee Program, and after screening, the council shortlisted 3,982 candidates who will be able to receive training for six months, as well as Rs50,000 every month.
Special seats for candidates from Balochistan
Pakistan Engineering Council specifically allocated 300 seats for the candidates from Balochistan. However, PEC said that another 1400 candidates were shortlisted from other provinces and federal areas.
Rs50,000 scholarship for candidates
Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Wasim Nazir, announced that all the selected candidates will receive Rs 50,000 as a scholarship every month during the six months of training.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Engineering Council also said that the young engineers will be able to enhance their skills through the Engineer Trainee Program.
He further said that for this purpose, partnerships have been established with public and private institutions across the country to ensure industrial development by promoting a skilled workforce in the country.
At the same time, this program will help young professionals financially, as all the selected candidates will be able to receive Rs 50,000 per month, and the duration of the program is six months.
