Famous Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds recently shared about his experience surviving a terrible car accident.
Ryan Reynolds opened up about a horrifying incident from his youth that resulted in severe injuries and a long hospital stay.
In a recent interview with GQ, the Deadpool actor talked about the car accident with his co-owner of Wrexham AFC, Rob McElhenney.
Reynolds revealed that at the age of 18, he was hit by a drunk driver while walking home in Vancouver.
He said, “I walked back and I looked at my car for a second and I thought, ‘You know what, I’m not going to drive anywhere, even if it’s four blocks home, absolutely not.”
As he recalled, the driver hit him after the young Ryan Reynolds crossed the road.
“I got run over by a drunk driver after making a firmly positive and wise decision for a young, 18 year old male”, he added.
The actor then mentioned that he spent about four weeks in the hospital. He had broken every bone in his left side.
While talking about the injuries he sustained from the car accident, Ryan Reynolds shared, “He hit me so hard, his car was not operational.”
