Samsung has finally launched the Galaxy S26 series in Pakistan, and it has surprised many buyers with its pricing. There were expectations that the new lineup, especially the Galaxy S26 Ultra, would cost more than the iPhone 17. However, Samsung has priced the devices quite competitively.
Those who were planning to buy the S25 Ultra, fearing that the S26 Ultra would be much more expensive, may now want to reconsider. The price of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is not very different from the launch price of the S25 Ultra in Pakistan.
The base model of the Galaxy S26 with 256GB storage is priced at Rs300,000. This makes it about Rs100,000 cheaper than the base model of the iPhone 17, which is currently priced between Rs400,000 and Rs410,000 in Pakistan.
The Galaxy S26 512GB variant is priced at Rs357,000. Once again, it is significantly cheaper than the iPhone 17 base model.
The Galaxy S26+ is priced at around Rs364,999, while the 512GB S26+ variant costs Rs410,000.
As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, the 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM variant is priced at Rs425,000. The 512GB variant is available for Rs490,000, while the 1TB model costs Rs580,000.
The pricing of the Galaxy S26 series in Pakistan is expected to give tough competition to other flagship smartphones, especially the iPhone 17. For example, those considering the 512GB iPhone 17, which is priced at Rs482,500, can instead opt for the Galaxy S26 512GB at Rs357,000 or even the Galaxy S26 Ultra 256GB variant at Rs425,000.
Overall, Samsung appears to have priced the S26 series strategically, placing it close to its main rival while offering competitive value.
Some people may feel that there are only minor differences between the S26 and S25 series. However, there are notable improvements. The S26 Ultra has delivered impressive performance results in early benchmark tests.
Much faster than S25 Ultra and iPhone 17
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s AnTuTu score surpasses 4 million, placing it ahead of 99 percent of smartphones in performance terms. Its Antutu score is around 1 million points higher than that of the S25 Ultra, showing a clear jump in performance along with improved hardware and optimisation.
Samsung Pakistan has also officially listed the S26 series on its website.
