Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57 price announced in Pakistan

Samsung Galaxy A57 price in Pakistan

Samsung has introduced its latest A-series smartphones in Pakistan, with the Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 now available for purchase through the company’s official website.

The pricing has caught attention, as both models sit close to each other. The Galaxy A57 is priced at Rs167,000, while the Galaxy A37 is listed at Rs150,000. The small gap has left many buyers weighing whether it makes more sense to opt for the higher-end model.

Market watchers believe that with such a narrow difference, many customers may lean towards the A57, which offers slightly better features.

Tough market conditions for mid-range phones

Samsung’s A-series has long been positioned as a mid-range option, but prices have steadily climbed in recent years. Devices in this category now often cross Rs130,000, placing them in a difficult spot.

Mobile dealers say sales of these phones have slowed. Buyers looking for affordable options are turning to brands such as Redmi, Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO, Infinix and Vivo. These companies are offering phones with strong features at much lower prices, often between Rs70,000 and Rs80,000.

At the same time, customers willing to spend more are choosing flagship models. Samsung’s own Galaxy S series, including newer premium devices, continues to attract buyers in that segment. Apple users, meanwhile, remain focused on the latest iPhone models.

This shift has left the upper mid-range category under pressure, with fewer buyers willing to spend above Rs120,000 unless they are moving to a flagship device.

It also supports high brightness levels and comes with Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection. However, it is powered by the slightly less powerful Exynos 1480 chipset, paired with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB RAM, and comes with 128GB or 256GB storage options.

For photography, the A37 also features a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera. Market response awaited

With competition growing stronger and price sensitivity increasing among buyers, the response to the Galaxy A57 and A37 will be closely watched in the coming weeks.

The narrow price gap between the two models may shape buying decisions, but the broader challenge for Samsung remains unchanged. It must convince users that its A-series offers enough value in a market filled with lower-priced alternatives.
