Samsung has increased the prices of smartphones in Pakistan for the first time in 2026, adding to confusion among buyers after weeks of frequent changes.
The biggest jump has been seen in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra lineup. The Galaxy S25 Utra 512GB variant is now priced at Rs440,000, up from around Rs370,000 earlier.
The Galaxy S25 Utra 256GB model, which had dropped to about Rs350,000 for a short period, is now listed at Rs405,000. Meanwhile, the top end Galaxy S25 Utra 1TB version has climbed to Rs510,000.
Prices across other models have also shifted. The Galaxy S25, which was earlier selling for around Rs385,000, is currently listed at Rs315,000, showing how uneven the recent revisions have been.
In the mid range segment, the Galaxy A56 now costs Rs138,000 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version, while the 12GB RAM variant is priced at Rs151,000. The Galaxy A36 is now available for Rs120,000.
Confusing price moves
Samsung’s pricing in Pakistan has remained hard to track. Only weeks ago, lower prices had sparked talk that the company was clearing space for its next flagship lineup, including the Galaxy S26 series. Instead, prices have moved up again, catching many buyers off guard.
Some reports suggest the upcoming Galaxy S26 could start at above Rs500,000 in Pakistan, adding to concerns about affordability. For now, it remains unclear how long current prices will stay in place or whether further changes are coming.
The latest increase follows similar moves in India, where Samsung recently raised prices of several models, including the Galaxy A56 and A36, by up to Rs2,000 INR, or about Rs6,200 in Pakistani rupees.
Last month, a well known tipster had claimed Samsung was planning to raise Galaxy A series prices due to higher component costs. That prediction now appears to be playing out.
Rising costs of key parts such as displays, cameras and memory are also expected to affect Samsung’s future phones, including the non foldable Galaxy S26 series.
When will Samsung Galaxy S26 launch?
Questions around pricing are growing as the launch of the Galaxy S26 draws closer. According to reputable tipster Ice Universe, Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 series at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco. Sales are expected to begin in early March, though a final date has not been confirmed.
This would continue Samsung’s recent pattern of hosting its flagship launches in the Bay Area. An update shared on January 5 added that Samsung is still deciding how to price the Galaxy S26, with new reports casting doubt on earlier claims of a price freeze.
For now, buyers in Pakistan are left watching closely, unsure whether prices will settle or climb even higher in the weeks ahead.
