PML-N Member of the Punjab Assembly Saqib Chadhar has denied allegations made by Hamza Habib, the husband of actress Momina Iqbal.

Hamza Habib had accused Saqib Chadhar of arranging shooters to kill him. Saqib rejected the allegations in an Instagram story. He called the claims a “fake story” and said they were baseless.

He also requested the Punjab Inspector General of Police to provide security to Hamza. Further adding that he needed it badly.

Saqib added that he had many other tasks to deal with and said the matter was of no importance to him.

The PML-N leader has now dismissed the allegations and rejected any involvement in the alleged incident.

What allegations did Hamza Habib make?

Previously, Hamza Habib made the allegation in an Instagram Story. He claimed that attempts to win people over to their side had failed and that shooters were now allegedly being arranged to target them.

He further claimed that his life may be at risk. Further adding that those allegedly responsible would eventually face consequences for their actions.

Earlier, Saqib Khan Chadhar spoke publicly about his relationship with actress Momina Iqbal and the allegations surrounding the Momina Iqbal case.

Speaking in a recent podcast with Hina Niazi, he claimed that he met Momina in 2019-20. Saying that he later proposed to her. He said their families agreed to the relationship and that they got engaged in 2020.

Saqib Chadhar said that Momina is telling lies about when their relationship ended. He claimed their engagement ended in December 2025, rather than 2022.

Momina Iqbal

Actress Momina Iqbal has also called out Saqib Chadhar after he appeared on Hina Niazi’s podcast.

She said that the politician presented fake proofs and chose to share his side only on his friend’s podcast.

Sharing a video of Saqib Chadhar attending Hina Niazi’s wedding, Momina pointed out that the two know each other. She said he had asked his friend to verify the alleged fake proofs.

“You were doing it publicly, so you had to show all these things to the public on camera and let them verify these fake papers”, she added.
