China has announced the Schwarzman Scholars Programme for the 2027-28 academic calendar.
The programme offers a fully funded one-year master’s degree at Tsinghua University in China.
The programme is open to both international and Chinese students.
The aim of the programme is to bring together young people from different backgrounds to study leadership, global affairs, and public policy.
Up to 200 students are selected each year.
The course runs for one year and is taught in English.
It focuses not only on academic study but also on leadership development and cultural understanding.
Applicants are expected to show strong academic performance, leadership potential, and the ability to work across cultures.
The programme also looks for candidates with an open-minded approach and a record of initiative or community involvement.
The scholarship covers all major expenses, including the full tuition, travel costs, accommodation, a monthly stipend, and medical insurance.
Students also receive support for study tours and course materials during the programme.

How to apply?
To apply, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
Applicants should be between 18 and 28 years old and meet the required English language standards.
The application process is completed online and includes submitting academic records, essays, recommendation letters, and a short video introduction.
