QUETTA: Once again, the Government of Balochistan has imposed Section 144 all over the province.
According to the notification issued, no one will be allowed to display weapons, tinted windows on vehicles. Moreover, pillion riding on the bike, or gathering more than four people, is also prohibited.
As per the notification, the Balochistan Home Department has banned all kinds of rallies and strikes till January 31, 2026.
The Department has further instructed the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts to submit the daily reports of the implementation of these restrictions.
Before January 2026, the restriction was imposed by the Balochistan officials in December 2025. But it was limited to Quetta only.
And earlier than this, a wide ban was imposed under Section 144 on November 5, 2025. This step was taken to ensure the safety and to meet the security concerns.

Pink Bus service has begun in Balochistan province, specifically for women and female students, after it was inaugurated by Balochistan Chief Minister, Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, on Friday.
On the social media platform X, formerly Twitter, Bugti shared the news, stating, “Praise be to Allah, at the start of the year, the Pink Bus service has been launched for the first time in Balochistan for women and female students.”
