Security agencies carried out a major operation in Karachi, preventing a serious tragedy and saving the city.
During an intelligence-based operation, the security agencies seized a mini truck parked in an empty plot.
The truck contained tons of explosive material, 60 plastic drums, five gas cylinders, and over 40 kilograms of homemade explosives.
The operation was carried out in Karachi’s Baldia Town.
According to sources, the terrorists were planning to target key public places using this truck.
Now, the security agencies have safely seized the explosives.
Officials said the operation is a significant success in foiling terrorist plans, and such actions will continue to ensure the safety of citizens.
In another development, an anti-terrorism court indicted two men in a case related to facilitating terrorists in the Karachi airport suicide attack case.
Saeed Ali, a trader, and Bilal, an officer at a private bank, have been arrested for allegedly facilitating and arranging funds through a private bank in Hub Chowki, Balochistan, to purchase a vehicle that was used in the deadly bombing targeting the Chinese nationals near the airport.
