Security forces destroyed two explosive-laden vehicles and killed four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district on July 30, the military said.
According to a statement, security forces launched the operation after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists linked to “Fitna al-Hindustan,” a term used by Pakistani authorities for India-backed militant networks.
During the operation, security forces detected and intercepted two vehicles carrying explosives. The vehicles had reportedly been configured as vehicle-borne improvised explosive devices (VBIEDs).
Security personnel acted swiftly and destroyed both vehicles before they could be used. The operation also resulted in the killing of four militants who were operating the vehicles, the statement said.
Security forces have launched a sanitisation operation in the area to locate and eliminate any other militants who may be present.
The military said security forces and law-enforcement agencies would continue their counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam, a national strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan.
It added that Pakistan would continue efforts to eliminate foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism and maintain peace and security across the country.

Earlier, the security forces arrested a Fitna Al-Hindustan terrorist during an operation, making a series of revelations about the group’s recruitment methods, training camps, funding, and operational network.
The arrested terrorist, identified as Habibullah, is a resident of Seerandoh in Ornach tehsil of Khuzdar district. During interrogation, he revealed that he was recruited by the terrorist organisation through false promises and financial incentives.
