The Sindh College Education Department has announced new working hours for morning and evening shifts at government colleges across the province. The revised schedule will take effect from August 1.
According to an official notification, separate timings have been set for morning and evening shifts under the updated academic calendar.
Morning-shift classes will begin at 8:30 am and end at 1:30 pm on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Evening-shift classes will operate from 3 pm to 7 pm.
Special timings have also been announced for Fridays. Morning classes will run from 8:30 am to 11:30 am, while evening-shift classes will remain open from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
The College Education Department said the new timetable would be implemented across Sindh from August 1.
Principals and college administrations have been directed to ensure strict compliance with the revised working hours.

Earlier, the Sindh Education Department had restored a six-day working week for all public and private educational institutions across the province.
According to an official notification, schools and colleges will resume academic activities six days a week, with classes scheduled from Monday to Saturday.
The revised schedule will come into effect from August 1, requiring all government and private schools to follow the six-day teaching week.
