Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply to several areas of Multan on Thursday, October 1, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance work.
According to an SNGPL notice, gas supply will remain suspended from 6:00am to 9:30pm as maintenance work is carried out on a main gas pipeline at the Canal Crossing in the Mailsi area.
The affected areas include Tibba Sultan Pur, Metla Chowk (Thatta Sadiqabad), Mailsi, Dunyapur and Karor Pakka, along with surrounding localities.

SNGPL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make alternative arrangements in advance to cope with the prolonged interruption in gas supply.
The company has also urged consumers to ensure that all gas appliances remain switched off during the suspension period. The precaution is intended to help prevent accidents or gas-related incidents when supply is restored.
