The pre-release ticket sales of Spider-Man: Brand New Day are going extremely strong and it is expected that the movie will make 800 million dollars in its opening weekend.
The new casting rumour about Spider-Man: Brand New Day has reignited speculation that Marvel Studios will bring Jean Grey to the Marvel Cinematic Universe through the next Spider-Man movie.
It is rumoured that actor Olivia Booth-Ford will be starring as Jean Grey’s sister Sara Grey in the upcoming film.
While neither Marvel Studios nor Sony Pictures has confirmed the rumours, it has fueled the already ongoing rumours that Stranger Things star Sadie Sink will play Jean Grey in the highly anticipated film.
The rumoured plot seems to involve the Department of Damage Control using Sara Grey as leverage to attack Jean Grey, which will tie the story into the growing mutant storyline in the MCU.
There has been no official word yet on Sink’s character.

Other reports and rumours are also coming. It is rumoured that actor Billy Clements will play Ramrod.
None of these casting claims is supported by the studios or any of the cast.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is already sparking a lot of buzz at the box office.
The movie has already reportedly grossed over $60 million in domestic pre-sales and over $120 million globally before its release in theatres.
The outlet also estimates that the Marvel film could reach more than $300 million at the North American box office and could hit an $800 million opening weekend worldwide if the demand continues.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is shortly to be released worldwide, stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman and Sadie Sink and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The movie will be released in cinemas on July 31.
