The Pakistan Cricket Board has named a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia. The series will be played at the Gaddafi stadium Lahore.
The matches will be taking place on January 29 and 31 and the last match will take place on February 1. All the matches will begin at 4 pm.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Babar Azam will be returning to the T20I squad after missing the recent T20I series with Sri Lanka in January.
Shadab Khan who made his comeback in the previous series against Sri Lanka will be looking to build on his comeback and will be becoming a part of a strong spin bowling attack with Usman Tariq, Mohammad Nawaz and Abrar Ahmed.
The player support and the Pakistani squad are expected to arrive in Lahore on Saturday, January 24th. The training for the series will start on the very next day.
Australia will arrive in Pakistan a littler later on Wednesday, January 28. This will be their second time playing a T20I series in Pakistan. Last time they played a single T20I in April 2022 at the Gaddafi Stadium.

All matches will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
With the first match on January 29th, the second match on January 31 and the last match on February 1. All the matches will start at 4 pm.
Fans will be focusing on Babar Azam, who had a very disappointing BBL campaign. As the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team and one of the world’s top batter expectations from him are high.
